- What is D-LABS by Scholege?
- D-LABS by Scholege is an education program that offers ambitious high-school students one-to-one and small-group research mentorship, together with a leadership certification, all guided by named mentors who come from top universities and from industry. - What programs does D-LABS offer?
- There are two flagship tracks. The first is Discovery Lab, which includes a Research Discovery Class and one-to-one Research Mentorship, along with fellowship and junior options for students who want more or who are younger. The second is Leadership Lab, a cohort-based leadership certification. Beyond these, D-LABS also runs an innovation and problem-solving lab, olympiad and science-fair preparation, an entrepreneurship track, an essay competition and expert webinars, and it issues digital micro-credentials to recognise what students have completed.
- Who are the D-LABS mentors?
- Every student works with senior mentors who are named from the outset, rather than being assigned from an anonymous pool. Among them are researchers and industry leaders from MIT, the University of Oxford, the London School of Economics, Baylor College of Medicine, Boston Consulting Group and BMW, so students are guided by people with genuine standing in their fields.
- How much does D-LABS cost?
- The early-bird tuition for Leadership Lab is $2,000, reduced from the standard $3,000. Pricing for research mentorship depends on the track you choose and on how long it runs, and need-based financial aid is available to those who qualify, with more than $1.2M awarded to date. - Do D-LABS students get their research published?
- Yes, they do. Students receive support all the way toward publication, and papers written by D-LABS students have already been published in reputable third-party academic journals. In fact, publication is an explicit goal of the one-to-one Research Mentorship track rather than an afterthought.
- What do students receive at the end of the program?
- Discovery Lab students finish with an original research project of their own, along with opportunities to have it published. Leadership Lab students earn a certificate of completion, become eligible for cash awards and scholarships, and receive digital micro-credentials that they can share as proof of what they have achieved.

- When does the 2026 Leadership Lab take place?
- The Summer 2026 cohort runs from 10 to 16 August 2026. Pre-registration is open now, but please note that only a limited number of spots are available.
