Applied programs take the research skills a student has built and turn them into visible, tangible results, such as prototypes, competition entries, ventures and pitches. They are a natural fit for students who enjoy teamwork, who work well with deadlines and who want a concrete outcome they can show, either alongside a research track or after completing one.

Start by writing to us and telling us about the student's interests, their current grade and the outcome they are hoping to reach. Based on what you share, we recommend the program that fits best and the mentor match that suits the student most closely.

All programs run live online, either one-to-one or in small cohorts, and every student works with a named mentor drawn from top universities and from industry. Sessions are scheduled around the school timetable, so the program fits alongside regular studies rather than competing with them.

Every program ends with something concrete that the student can show to others. Depending on the program, that might be an original project, a certificate, a verifiable digital credential or a recommendation letter written by a mentor who has seen the student's work first-hand.
A collaborative lab in which students tackle real-world global challenges using design thinking and systems thinking, then work in teams to prototype practical solutions that could actually be put to use.
