An extended, in-depth independent research experience for committed students who want to take a project further, toward a substantial, publishable outcome.
Research programs are the core of D-LABS and build on each other: students typically start in the Research Discovery Class or a short Research Exploration, move into 1:1 mentorship on an original project, and — when the work merits it — continue toward fellowship-level depth and support toward publication in reputable third-party journals.

Every program ends with something you can show: an original project, a certificate, a verifiable credential or a first-hand recommendation letter.
